🎨 STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH ART & CULTURE
The Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago (ASTT) continues to play an important role in the development, promotion and appreciation of visual art in Trinidad and Tobago, providing a platform for artists, creatives and the wider public to engage with the nation’s rich artistic heritage and contemporary creative expression.
As part of its commitment to building strong institutional partnerships and cultural relationships, Reita Toussaint, Director of the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago, responsible for Diplomatic Relations and Institutional Partnerships, met with His Worship Alderman Chinua Alleyne, Mayor of Port-of-Spain.
The engagement forms part of the proposed Outdoor Art Gallery Collaboration between the Port of Spain City Corporation and the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago.
The proposed collaboration presents an exciting opportunity to bring art into the public space, create greater visibility for local artists and enhance the cultural landscape of Port of Spain.
Through partnerships like these, the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago strengthens the ecosystem for artists, art appreciation, cultural development, and community engagement.
