The Licensing Unit of the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism recently participated in the Annual Trade and Licensing Training Session hosted by the National Ozone Unit of the Ministry of Planning and Development.

The session focused on strengthening Trinidad and Tobago’s compliance with international environmental obligations, protecting the ozone layer, and building capacity to identify and safely manage newer alternative refrigerants, many of which are flammable.

Through continued training and collaboration, officers are better equipped to support sustainable trade practices while safeguarding people and the environment.
