High Commissioner to Jamaica, Deryck Murray, in his remarks at yesterday's webinar, noted, "When we are exporting, it is easy to overlook the impact of plastics and packaging on climate change and pollution." He expressed hope that exporters would gain an appreciation for Jamaica's requirements regarding the plastics and packaging sector and, as a result, more readily access the Jamaican market. Jamaica is a party to several multilateral environmental agreements, and Anthony McKenzie of the Jamaican National Environmental and Planning Agency, along with Dwight Ramdon of the Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ), presented the country's current progress in phased adherence to these agreements. #BaselConvention #CartagenaConvention #MARPOL #INC

Angostura Limited signs agreement with Chinese trading company at the China International Import Expo!
On Wednesday 6 November, 2024, Mr. Huang Sheng, Manager from First Caribbean Marketing CO. LTD - and distributor for Angostura in China, signed an agreement with Mr. Sun Liang, Director of Shanghai Wei Zhen Trading Company Limited at the welcome desk of the Trinidad and Tobago pavilion at the CIIE.
This agreement is expected to assist with the expansion of Angostura's distribution network in China.
