Global Trinidad and Tobago was happy to support the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism in the 5th Roadshow event in beautiful Chaguaramas. It was a great opportunity to share the Ministry's plan and to hear first-hand from key stakeholders in the Maritime and Marine sectors. There are huge opportunities in the sector which harness natural advantages such as being located outside of the hurricane belt and developed advantages such as the skills and competencies developed by individuals and companies over time. Chaguaramas can be best described as a community with each constituent having something to offer to visitors to our shores. Together we can work towards creating a world class visitor experience. We look forward to the next phase of working with the stakeholders on the specific projects that will bring these immense opportunities into reality.

We congratulate the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism on this major achievement that greatly simplifies the immigration and customs processes for yachts entering Trinidad and Tobago's waters. This is an important component in rebuilding a competitive yachting sector that can generate significant foreign exchange for the country. Special congratulations to Mr Nyron Mohammed for his leadership and diligent work on seeing this project through.
