This structured system facilitates the sharing of experience and consequently peer support among youth . The International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement is made up of the IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies), the ICRC and 186 National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. We are an organization of people, tens of millions of them. Over half of these members are youth volunteers, who make a huge contribution towards our work. Today one person in five is between the ages of 15 and 24 years. Altogether there are over one billion youth and they constitute a formidable force. The Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement aims to work with young people to ensure that they can have the greatest impact possible in their contribution towards those made vulnerable by natural catastrophes, conflicts and "silent" crises such as poverty and disease. We also aim to develop the skills and capacity of young volunteers by working with our member societies to deliver promote best practices and trainings that best meet the needs of young people. We are eager for you to use the page to share interesting ideas and stories about your experience in the Red Cross Red Crescent, as well as programmes that you are involved in.

Mission: The Caribbean Network Mission is to capture and mobilise the potential of youth volunteers and members within the NS/OSB so as to improve the lives of vulnerable people in the Caribbean.
