We invite friends, family and members of the cultural community to join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Clive Mitchell, a gifted musician whose trumpet helped shape the sound of calypso and soca for generations. 🎺🕊️

The funeral service will be held on Friday 18th September 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Junior Armstrong Memorial Funeral Service Chapel, Arima, followed by a private cremation.

A repast will be held from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 18 Mary Street, St. Clair.

May Clive’s music, contribution and memory continue to live on through all those he touched. Rest in eternal peace. 🙏🏽🎶

On this Independence Day, I join the entire TUCO family in celebrating 64 years of Trinidad and Tobago’s journey as an independent nation.

Our story has always been carried by the creativity, resilience and spirit of our people. As calypsonians, we are proud to be part of that story, documenting our history, giving voice to our experiences and helping to shape our national identity through music and culture.

As we celebrate today, may we continue to believe in the promise of Trinidad and Tobago and work together to build a country that future generations will be proud to inherit.

Voting runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members are advised to arrive early to allow sufficient time to complete the voting process.
