Stronger data means stronger response! 💪

Disaster management agencies from 13 Caribbean countries have come together to develop a regional Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), ensuring faster, more coordinated, and people-centered support in times of crisis.

With disasters already triggering thousands of internal displacements across the region, better data helps responders understand who is affected, where they are, and what they need—so no one is left behind.

This initiative is supported by EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid and marks a key step toward a more resilient Caribbean.

Don't wait for an emergency to strike! We're currently in hurricane season. It's essential to prepare an emergency kit. Store important documents in a waterproof bag, have a flashlight and battery-operated radio ready, stock up on hygiene items, water, necessary medications, and some cash in small denominations. 🌪️🛠️💧
