My HDC Home Housing Development Corporation (HDC)

The Corporation is mandated by the Act to:

• Provide affordable shelter and associated community facilities for low and middle income persons and;
• Carry out the broad policy of the Government in relation to housing.
• The affairs of the Corporation are managed by a Board of Directors. The functions of the HDC include the following:-

Provision of affordable and acceptable housing units and asso

ciated community facilities for low and middle income persons in HDC housing developments;
• Stimulation of private sector activities with respect to home construction;
• Rationalizing and restructuring of its mortgage portfolio;
• Management and maintenance of its housing estates, and
• Acquisition of land for housing development.

In HDC's "Know Your Home" game, visitors had to guess the names of places in T&T! 🇹🇹

Some opted for "Home Score", where each of the five buckets represented a room in the house with a number value. The goal was to score 100 points, using just 3 balls!🪣🥎💯

Whatever the reason for your visit, the HDC booth always attracts a crowd at Community Outreaches!

Minister in the Ministry of Housing, The Honourable Phillip Alexander, toured the Ridgeview Heights, Bon Air North, Phase 3, housing development site on Friday, along with HDC officials, before addressing members of the media.

Present were HDC's Corporate Communications Manager, Giselle Legall...as well as, Project Manager, Reisa Dookeeram, and Site Supervisors, Shivana Singh and Densley Morris.

"We're going to deliver...We're going to fix it!".

That's the promise of Minister in the Ministry of Housing, Phillip Edward Alexander, as he addressed the media on yet another condemned project at Ridgeview Heights, Bon Air North, Phase 3.

Minister Alexander spoke on the Housing Development Corporation's (HDC) plan to persevere in its mandate to deliver high quality, affordable housing to the people of Trinidad and Tobago, despite its many inherited challenges.

Minister in the Ministry of Housing, The Honourable Phillip Edward Alexander, describes the uncompleted Bon Air North, Phase 3, project as, "The worst of the worst!".

He shared with the public the status of this housing development at a Press Conference held on site, earlier today.

But first, HDC's Project Manager, Reisa Dookeeram, gives us some insight.

Also representing the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) were Corporate Communications Manager, Giselle Legall...and Site Supervisors, Densley Morris and Shivana Singh.
