“The illusion of fear” can mean that fear often feels like an absolute reality, even when the danger itself is uncertain, exaggerated, or entirely imagined.

Fear is real as an emotion—but what it predicts is not always real. The mind can turn “What if?” into “This will happen,” making an imagined threat feel as powerful as an actual one.

In that sense, fear can be an illusion: not because nothing is wrong, but because the mind’s picture of what might happen can become larger than reality itself.

We shouldn't judge others without knowing how they were treated before you met them

Chances are, a person is the way they are because they were shaped that way to help them cope with their issues

But their coping style can very well be the cause of your downfall

Different battles, different people, different outcomes

Life still goes on...

When we give our brain positive thoughts it wires our entire self being to be positive and that attracts positive-greatness...

Psychology says:

Being happy and positive while
going through challenges does
not mean you aren't struggling,
but it reflects emotional resilience
and psychological flexibility - (Take a read for further understanding below)

A few concepts can describe it:

📔Resilience: You experience difficulties but are able to adapt, recover, and continue functioning without letting the challenge completely define your emotional state.

📗Emotional regulation: You can acknowledge stress, disappointment, or fear while still allowing yourself to experience positive emotions.

📘Optimism: You tend to believe that difficult circumstances can improve or that you can find a way forward.

📙Psychological flexibility: You can accept that something is difficult without becoming consumed by it, while continuing to act according to what matters to you.

📒Post-traumatic growth: In some circumstances, people can develop greater appreciation, strength, meaning, or self-understanding through adversity.
Importantly, being positive doesn't mean you aren't affected by the challenge.

A psychologically healthy response can look like: “This is really difficult, and I'm worried about it—but I still believe I'll get through it, and I can enjoy the good things happening today.”

That's actually different from toxic positivity, where someone feels pressured to suppress or deny negative emotions with statements like “Everything is fine” when it clearly isn't.

So if you're facing real challenges but genuinely still feel happy, hopeful, grateful, or motivated, psychology would generally view that as a potentially healthy capacity to hold difficult and positive emotions at the same time.
