Tobago Citizen Security Programme The Citizen Security Programme (CSP) is an initiative of the Ministry of National Security

The Citizen Security Programme's symbol portrays unity, togetherness and community cohesion. The symbol is represented by several individuals with their arms out-stretched in a 'hugging' manner clearly depicting the Programme's purpose of enhancing warmth and togetherness in communities to help reduce crime levels.

It can be difficult to identify emotionally abusive behaviour. The following actions can be classified as emotional child abuse:
1. Humiliating or constantly criticising a child
2. Threatening, shouting at a child or calling them names
3. Making the child the subject of jokes, or using sarcasm to hurt a child
4. Not recognizing a child's own individuality
5. Pushing a child too hard or not recognizing their limitations
6. Exposing a child to distressing events or interactions such as domestic abuse or drug taking
7. Not allowing them to have friends
8. never saying anything kind, expressing positive feelings or congratulating a child on successes
