Highlights from the launch of the Farmer Field School Lead Farmer Training Programme – Tobago Phase 2.

This initiative demonstrates togetherness among agricultural stakeholders, including extension officers, lead farmers, and development partners, in a shared commitment to strengthening Tobago's agricultural sector through knowledge sharing, innovation, and practical learning.

The Division of Food Security extends sincere appreciation to NAMDEVCO, the BIOREACH Project team, and all participants for their support and engagement. The Eradication Team of the Division of Food Security will be active in your area. Please check the eradication schedule to see the date and time they will be working in your community.

The Division of Food Security invites agro-processors, entrepreneurs, and interested persons to participate in a series of practical training sessions designed to strengthen value-added production skills and support business growth within the agro-processing sector.

Topics include Pickled and Fermented Vegetables, Smoked Meat, Tobago Cassava Bread, and Agro Christmas Decorations. These free sessions will provide participants with hands-on knowledge and techniques to enhance product development and market opportunities.
