The TTF Secretariat held its first ever retreat at the Funafuti Lagoon Hotel earlier today. The objective of this retreat was to reflect on the work carried out in the previous year, and outlining the major tasks of the Secretariat for 2023.

The Secretariat consists of the Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Administration Officer and Project Officer (funded by the Falekaupule Trust Fund). Each person presented on their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges relating to their line of work and what we can achieve together as a team.

We would like to thank everyone for their contributions to today’s discussion. It has been a great learning experience and something we aspire to carry out every year. Here’s to 2023! πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡»

The TTF Secretariat would like to give an enormous thanks and fakafetai lasi to Afelita Island Resort for being an amazing host for the TTF 74th Board Meeting. While the stay was short, we were able to find some time admiring the change of environment, and being educated on the agroforestry systems they are implementing on Mulitefala islet. This enables them to provide fresh and healthy meals to their guests using their own produce.

We hope to visit again! πŸŒΏπŸ‡ΉπŸ‡»
