TEAMWORK AT ITS BEST! 💪🏽♻️🏗️

A great effort today by Team DWM as we worked together to construct the foundation for the new Pyrolysis Plant Shed at the Dumpsite.

From early morning, everyone contributed their time, strength, and skills to get the work done. This is what teamwork looks like working together, supporting one another, and taking practical steps toward improving waste management in Tuvalu. 🇹🇻🌱

We are pleased to share the findings from the recent waste survey and litter audit carried out in Funafuti. This important work was made possible through the SWAP2 project and Pacific Ocean Litter Project (POLP), implemented by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP).
Presenting the findings: Ms Miriama Taukiei
The data collected will help strengthen our waste management planning, improve resource recovery, and support practical solutions for our island. With limited land and growing waste challenges, having reliable information is essential for protecting our fenua (land) and moana (ocean).
