💗🇹🇼 Love from Taiwan in action!! A medical team of 4 nurses, a dermatologist, cardiologist, dentist and family medicine doctor completed basic medical check for students 👶👧🧒of Nauti primary school. 👍👍They are carrying on their works for school children across Funafuti. A Big hand to them!!👏🙌💐🌺

【歐洲議會再度力挺 支持台灣有意義參與國際組織💪🇪🇺】

歐洲議會最近通過「有關第81屆聯合國大會之建議」報告案，再度明確表達對台灣國際參與及台海和平穩定的支持！

報告重點包括：
📍強調 #聯大第2758號決議 並未決定台灣主權，亦未提及台灣，不可用此決議排除台灣的國際參與。
📍支持台灣有意義參與國際組織，以貢獻國際社會福祉。
📍反對任何以武力或脅迫方式片面改變台海現狀。
📍呼籲透過外交途徑避免台海及南海情勢升高。

外交部誠摯感謝歐洲議會持續以具體行動支持台灣，未來也將與理念相近夥伴攜手合作，共同守護以規則為基礎的國際秩序、民主與自由，以及區域和平穩定🤝

recommendation report passed in support of Taiwan’s meaningful international participation & opposing distortion of UNGA Resolution 2758💪🇪🇺

The recommendation details the European Union’s position on the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), reiterating support for Taiwan’s meaningful participation in international organizations and demonstrating the European Parliament's support for the maintenance of peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.

The recommendation:
📍underlines that UNGA Resolution 2758 neither determines the sovereignty of Taiwan nor mentions Taiwan; opposes the resolution being used to exclude Taiwan from the international system;
📍urges the EU to step up support for Taiwan’s meaningful participation in international organizations for the benefit of the international community;
📍opposes any unilateral change to the status quo by coercion or force;
📍recommends that the EU engage in diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation in the Taiwan Strait and the South China Sea.

MOFA thanks the European Parliament for continuing to advocate for Taiwan’s international participation. Taiwan will further strengthen coordination with the EU and other like-minded partners to jointly uphold the rules-based international order and defend the values of democracy, freedom, and human rights. It will continue to actively contribute to the international community and strive for peace, security, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific and around the world.🤝

誠摯感謝國際社會力挺台灣參與世界衛生大會！

今年第79屆 在外交部與駐外館處持續努力之下，目前已經有50多國的行政或立法部門堅定力挺台灣參與WHA及國際組織，包含：

🔹 具有WHO會員國身分的11國友邦提交相關提案，要求列入今年WHA議程。

🔹 瓜地馬拉、聖克里斯多福及尼維斯等國會通過友台決議。

🔹 英國外交部與瑞典外長皆公開表達支持台灣有意義參與國際組織。歐盟除了表達支持，也指出中國的「一中原則」並無國際共識，歐盟並未承認或採用。

🔹 美國駐聯合國常代Michael Waltz與美國國務院也表達堅定立場，認為台灣應有意義參與國際組織。

此外，許多國家的國會議員、世界醫師會等國際醫衛團體及非政府組織，透過個別或聯合致函或社群媒體等形式，籲請全球各界共同採取行動支持台灣參與，讓全球公衛體系不遺漏任何人。

台灣智慧醫療技術不僅結合高科技產業成果與健康照護專業，也透過 #榮邦計畫 跟好朋友分享，一起成為守護生命的力量。感謝好朋友的力挺，讓台灣醫療點亮世界！

Taiwan thanks the international community for supporting Taiwan's participation in the World Health Assembly!

The executive or legislative branches of over 50 countries have shown their support for Taiwan's participation in the 79th World Health Assembly, including:

🔹 11 of our World Health Organization member-nation diplomatic allies have proposed supplementary agenda items regarding Taiwan's participation in the World Health Assembly.

🔹 The Congress of Guatemala and the National Assembly of Saint Kitts and Nevis adopted resolutions in favor of Taiwan's participation in the international community.

🔹 The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard have both called for Taiwan's meaningful participation in international organizations. As well as expressing support, the European Union has pointed out that there is no international consensus behind the PRC's 'One China Principle', which remains unrecognized by the EU.

🔹 The Permanent Representative of the US to the United Nations Mike Waltz and the U.S. Department of State have reiterated their stance, suggesting Taiwan should meaningfully participate in international organizations.

MPs from many countries, international medical associations such as the World Medical Association, and NGOs have appealed to the world to support Taiwan's participation and to leave no one behind in global health through various means, including individual or joint letters and social media posts.

Taiwan's smart health technology combines our high-tech strengths with our professional healthcare system, which we have gone on to share with partners under the Diplomatic Allies Prosperity Project in order to help save lives around the world.
