As TMoFA moves toward the opening of the Main Museum, we are honored to announce the launch of a seven-year partnership with Centre Pompidou.
Centering on exhibitions, education, and research exchange, Yung-Neng Lin, Director of TMoFA, and Laurent Le Bon, President of the Centre Pompidou, jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 16 July 2026, marking the beginning of this shared journey.✍️
In the years ahead, we will advance the following initiatives:
✦ 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧
In 2028, in collaboration with Centre Pompidou, we will present a children’s art education exhibition at the Taoyuan Children’s Art Center, inviting young audiences to enter the world of art through embodied and sensory play.
✦ 𝐀 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
In 2029, the Main Museum will present a major exhibition on Wassily Kandinsky, the pioneer of modern abstract art. The project will bring together the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center and the Taoyuan Children’s Art Center as a cross-institutional initiative centered on abstraction and perception.
✦ 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞
Beyond exhibitions and education, this partnership will foster professional exchange and curatorial dialogue, encouraging knowledge exchange and professional development.
As a key partner of TMoFA, we look forward to working closely with Centre Pompidou to co-create a more diverse and equitable artistic landscape that responds to the evolving dynamics of society
