We are selecting up to 10 Taiwan-based startups to pitch to VCs in Japan. 3 winning teams will receive a ticket to Tokyo and all finalists will have the chance to undergo an intensive 4-week bootcamp to prepare you thoroughly to meet Japanese investors. Through our partner Headline Asia, you will have the opportunity to visit IVS Kyoto 2026, meet up with Japanese startups and also Japanese accelerators and incubators for a comprehensive overview of the Japan startup ecosystem.

To support tech startups in strengthening their financial management foundations and enhancing business decision-making capabilities, this program provides mid- to long-term professional advisory resources.

Through a Fractional CFO (shared CFO) model, the program assists companies in establishing sound financial systems, improving the quality of financial reports, and strengthening fundraising and operational planning capabilities.

Based on each company’s actual needs, financial consultants will be assigned for on-site guidance over a period of approximately 4 to 6 months. The advisory scope includes financial and accounting system setup, business data analysis, capital planning, and fundraising strategies—helping companies gradually build a solid operational foundation.

I. Eligibility (Priority given to applicants who meet the following conditions)
At least 5 employees
Basic internal financial personnel or operational mechanisms in place
Demonstrated innovation capability (e.g., prior investment, patents, competition awards, or recommendations from incubators or related organizations)
II. Application Process

After submitting the application and required documents, the ex*****on team will conduct a needs assessment and preliminary visit. Applicants who pass the evaluation process will be selected for the program.

面對全球產業變遷與供應鏈重組，經濟部於3月4日舉辦「五大信賴產業技術趨勢與新創輔導資源說明會」，聚焦半導體、人工智慧、軍工、安控及次世代通訊等具高度戰略價值的產業，協助新創企業掌握產業需求與政府輔導資源，強化技術發展與產業供應鏈競爭力。

首場活動以人工智慧（AI）產業為主題，探討AI技術在製造、醫療、法律及物流等垂直領域的應用機會，並分享臺灣AI產業發展趨勢，提供新創企業未來研發與產業導入的方向參考。

活動同時整合多項政府新創輔導資源，包括 TAcc+加速器、亞灣新創園AI實證平台、SBIR研發補助、A+企業創新研發計畫及企業創投加速創新創業計畫 等，協助新創加速技術開發與商業化應用。

本次說明會吸引近73家新創企業及30位學研與創投代表參與交流。後續將於 3月11日新竹（次世代通訊與半導體） 及 3月18日高雄（軍工無人載具） 持續辦理系列說明會。

In response to rapid global industrial changes and supply chain restructuring, the Ministry of Economic Affairs held the “Trusted Industries Technology Trends and Startup Support Resources Briefing” on March 4. The event focused on the five key trusted industries—semiconductors, artificial intelligence, defense, security, and next-generation communications— helping startups better understand industry demands and strengthen their competitiveness in technology development and supply chains.

The first session highlighted the Artificial Intelligence (AI) sector, exploring opportunities for integrating AI technologies into vertical applications such as manufacturing, healthcare, legal services, and logistics, while also sharing insights into Taiwan’s AI industry development trends.

The briefing attracted 73 startups and over 30 representatives from academia, research institutes, and venture capital firms. Upcoming sessions will be held on March 11 in Hsinchu (Next-Generation Communications & Semiconductors) and March 18 in Kaohsiung (Defense & Unmanned Vehicles).

Additionally, Innovation for Industry (i4i), the operator of Startup Terrace ABA Base, was honored to participate in the event. We sincerely invite companies from the five trusted industries to apply for residency at Startup Terrace ABA Base, where eligible companies may receive rental subsidies of up to 60% off the standard rate.
