Four (4) outstanding Kabataang IsabeleΓ±os proudly represented the province at the 13th National Youth Parliament (NYP) National Assembly held last November 17β21, 2025 in the historic City of Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
Organized by the National Youth Commission, the gathering brought together young leaders from across the Philippines to craft policies and advocate for youth-centered reforms.
Joining the assembly were John Herald Abu, Justine Ayle Talamayan, Godhyl Kaye Okit, and Kurt Russel Vergaraβall showcasing Isabelaβs commitment to meaningful youth participation, governance, and nation-building. The Isabela delegates were representatives of the 13th NYP-Regional Assembly in Cagayan Valley which the Province of Isabela successfully hosted last July 2022.
Throughout the sessions, they engaged in intensive discussions, collaborative workshops, and plenary deliberations that strengthened their leadership and policymaking skills.
A special highlight for Isabela was the election of Mr. John Herald Abu as the National Deputy Floor Leader of the 13th NYP, a remarkable milestone that reflects both his dedication and the trust placed in him by fellow youth delegates.
Truly, these young leaders continue to bring pride to Isabela as they champion the voice of the Filipino youth. ππ΅π
