沿革

五福代表財、子、福、祿、壽。五福商店為楊添賜於1914年創立，原位於當時稱竹子街的本町三丁目（今民權路，忠義、永福路間區段）。並於1928-1930年興建、搬遷至位於西門町四丁目27番地（今中正路，近西門路）現址直到今日。二戰後，曾出租做為餐館、舞廳、酒吧、美體小舖、寶琦華舞蹈生活用品館等不同使用，於2019年暫時結束所有租約，所有權人預計修復本棟建物。
