北台南家庭扶助中心於民國60年7月在新營設立，
初期主以服務遭遇急難變故、生活貧困的兒童及其家庭，
自70年代起因應社會現況需求，逐年推展家庭寄養服務、
兒童少年保護服務、心理創傷復原及社區兒童福利服務。
為讓服務提供更具可近性，
並相繼於74年成立佳里服務處、
93年成立永康服務處、
107年成立玉井服務處。
北台南家扶期望幫助每個弱勢家庭都能享有幸福。
