Taiwan is thinking beyond recruitment — and focusing on long-term belonging.

Starting June 30, eligible foreign professionals and their families will be able to access Taiwan’s long-term care services. The policy extends coverage to foreign professionals who have obtained permanent residency and lived in Taiwan long term, as well as their spouses, children under 18, and disabled adult children.

This reflects Taiwan’s commitment not only to attracting international talent, but also to supporting those who have chosen to put down roots here, raise families, and contribute to Taiwan’s communities over many years. Taiwan has already begun expanding pathways for foreign professionals, from labor pension access to discussions on long-term care eligibility and family support policies.

With more than 15,000 Employment Gold Card holders and a growing international community calling Taiwan home, building a society where global talent can thrive at every stage of life remains an important part of Taiwan’s future. 🌏

The AI era is fueling Taiwan’s next economic chapter. 🚀

Taipei’s skyline is entering a new era. 🌆

The upcoming Taipei Twin Towers, rising above Taipei Main Station, are set to become one of Taiwan’s most iconic new landmarks — transforming the city into an even more connected global hub.

With direct integration across Taiwan’s transportation network, including the Airport MRT, high-speed rail, MRT, and rail systems, the project reflects Taipei’s long-term vision for smart urban development and international accessibility. The development is expected to generate around 16,000 job opportunities while boosting business, tourism, hospitality, and commercial activity in the heart of the capital.

As Taiwan continues to attract global professionals and innovators, projects like the Taipei Twin Towers showcase Taipei’s growing status as a world-class city built for the future. 🇹🇼✨
