外貿協會董事長黃志芳在開幕致詞中，以《創造亞當》點出這個時代的核心命題：「五百年前，上帝伸手賦予人類生命。二十一世紀，動手的是我們。而我們正在孕育的智慧，是AI。」

COMPUTEX 2026 opened today in Taipei with a record-breaking 1,500 exhibitors from 33 countries, 6,000 booths, and a lineup of global tech leaders that reflects just how central Taiwan has become to the AI era.
This year's theme — AI Together — signals a pivotal shift: AI is moving into factories, hospitals, cities, and daily life. Taiwan's complete supply chain, from chips to systems to applications, is the foundation making it all possible.
In his opening remarks, TAITRA Chairman James Huang drew on Michelangelo's Creation of Adam: "For five centuries, that painting showed God giving life to man. In the 21st century, the hand is ours. And the intelligence we are bringing to life is AI."
It's not just a technology story. It's about what kind of civilization we want to build — together.
