從一個設計概念，到成為大家手中的模型，中間究竟要經過哪些步驟？
這次，我們來到靜岡的萬代鋼彈體驗型博物館 BHC PDII Museum，體驗一日「鋼彈模型設計師」。
這裡不只是帶你參觀工廠，更讓你親自走進模型設計的每個環節，從設計、上色、開模到包裝，完整體驗一款鋼彈從無到有的誕生過程。
整個體驗分為兩大區域：
STUDY AREA
深入了解鋼彈的製作流程、技術演進與設計理念，還能近距離參觀工廠生產線，看看一盒盒模型是如何被製造出來。
LABORATORY AREA
真正化身鋼彈模型設計師！每位參與者都會拿到一張專屬 Designer ID，只要將 ID 靠近各個設計機台，就能登入自己的設計任務，從造型設計、配色、開模到包裝設計，一步步完成屬於自己的鋼彈。
最有趣的是，這不是單純的體驗，而是一場真正的「設計考驗」！
每完成一個環節，系統都會即時評分：
🧩 造型設計（Modeling）
🎨 配色設計（Coloring）
⚙️ 開模設計（Mold）
📦 包裝設計（Package Design）
四個項目的分數加總，就是你的最終成績🏅
實際體驗後才發現，每一個設計決定都會影響模型是否能順利製作、生產，甚至成為玩家願意收藏的作品。
一盒模型的誕生，凝聚著設計、工程與製造團隊在每個細節上的考量與合作。

Have you ever wondered how a Gundam model kit comes to life? 🤔
From a single design concept to the model kit on your shelf, what does the journey actually look like?
We recently visited the BANDAI HOBBY CENTER Plamo Design Industrial Institute in Shizuoka to experience what it's like to become a Gunpla Model Designer for a Day.
This isn't just a factory tour. Instead of simply watching how Gunpla is made, you get to step into the role of a designer and experience the entire process—from modeling and color selection to mold design and packaging.
The experience is divided into two main areas:
STUDY AREA
Discover the history, technology, and production process behind Gunpla, then get an up-close look at the factory where the model kits are brought to life.
LABORATORY AREA
Here's where the real challenge begins! Every participant receives a personalized Designer ID, which is used to log into each design station and begin your creative journey.
Using your Designer ID, you'll complete each stage of the design process:
🧩 Modeling
🎨 Coloring
⚙️ Mold Design
📦 Package Design
And here's the fun part—it isn't just a hands-on activity. It's a real design challenge.
After completing each stage, your work is scored, and your final result is calculated from all four categories. 🏅
Experiencing the process firsthand showed us that every design decision matters. Every detail plays a role in turning an idea into a Gunpla kit that fans will want to build and collect.
