On 13th August 2025, Ms. Nancy Sifa, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i, and Ms. Christine Mkwenda representing the High Commissioner received cyclists who participating in the 3rd edition of the KCA University VC & CEO Cycling Tour at the regional commissioner's office in Arusha.

The purpose of the Tour is to raise 25 million from the Cycling Tour to boost the scholarship fund that supports needy students pay school fees, and contribute towards the development of the much needed infrastructure on the centre for accident and injury surveillance.

The Tour also aims to create awareness on road safety to members of the public and motorists in the region; create awareness on health and wellness; and promote non motorised transport systems in the city roads in Eastern Africa thus minimising carbon emissions.

Thereafter, the cyslists proceeded to the EAC headquarters where they were received by the Director, Customs and ag. Director Trade, Ms. Flavia Busingye on behalf of the Secretary General.

On 7th July 2025, the Consulate held it's inaugural Diaspora Investment Forum at Mount Meru hotel in Arusha with the support of the State Department for Diaspora Affairs. The Forum attracted a participation of about 150 diasporans.During the Forum, Diasporans were educated on various investment vehicles and encouraged to invest for their own financial security. The forum was sponsored by the Central Bank of Kenya, Optiven Limited, Britam, ICEA LION and Fusion Estates.
