CENTRAL NURSERY AND DAYCARE SCHOOL
Central Nursery and Daycare school is not a children class but a wonderful school/Centre constructed purposely to serve the needs for children from two and half to six years old.A school/centre which has to help a child to grow in various ways physically,mentally,linguistically,emotionally,morally and socially.
1.MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION
English language is the
MAIN and the ONLY means of communication to be used always and all times either at school or outside the school. Every student, staff members including cooks, drivers, gardeners, ect. Must speak English and not otherwise.
2. SCHOOL ACADEMIC YEAR AND TERMS
The school academic year combines TWO terms. First term starts from January to June and the second term starts from July to November. However our academic year has four holidays. One month holiday at the end of each term, and two/one week holiday at the middle of each term.
3. SCHOOL HOURS
All students begin school time table from 7:30 am and ends at 2:30pm everyday Monday to Friday. The school has no half day programs by now.
4. FOOD SERVICE
All students feed on school food which is prepared at school every day. This includes breakfast, lunch, vegetables, fruits and drinking water. Mind you, the school does not allow any student to come at school with any kind of eating material.
5. SUBJECTS TAUGHT
Involves, Language, Number work, Science, Art, Handwriting, Montessori activities, Music instruments (piano, guitar, flute, banjo, ect.)
6. SCHOOL TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Students learn through activities which encourage every child to use his/her senses of touch (skin), sight (eyes), hearing (ears), smell (nose), and taste (tongue), to explore and manipulate materials in his/her immediate environment.
7. SCHOOL UNIFORMS
Students must wear school uniforms everyday according to the following arrangement,
(a)Mondays and Tuesdays all students wear shorts/skirts and collared t-sh*ts=PINK COLOUR. (b)Wednesdays are games and sports days all students wear shorts and round t-shirts=LIGHT BLUE COLOUR
(c)Thursdays and Fridays all students wear shorts/skirts and collared t-shirts= LIGHT BLUE COLOUR. Students wear rather black shoes and colored socks every day except on Wednesday where they wear white rubber with colored socks
(8)SCHOOL POLICY AND PRACTICE
All children are equal. No one is disadvantaged status, religion, gender, morphology, wealth, ect. Every student is given equal opportunity and attention although each one is in his own way unique. (9) STAFF MEMBERS
Central schools use International teaching methods and philosophy, so our schools must employ the best International Teachers who have meet International teaching standards. Our teachers know the likes and dislikes of children, children concentration, creativity, obedience, ect. as far as child care and psychology are concern. (10)SCHOOL TRANSPORT
Central Nursery and Daycare school has no boarding programs by the time being. Students are using school buses which go and return every school day. Parents who have their private transport for their children can use it. (11) SCHOOL MOTTO. Our school motto is to help every child to grow and develop in intelligence and independence.
