Meet our Panelist , Arch. Sofia Salviani De Boseck
Sofía Salviani de Boseck is an architect and urban planner trained at U.B.A., Argentina, and Bauhaus University, Germany, holding a Master of Science in Urban Studies and a specialization in Neuroarchitecture (Spain, 2026). With over 25 years of experience across Europe, Latin America, and Africa, she leads Studio Salviani in Weimar, working at the intersection of design, sustainability, and social impact.
Her practice focuses on human-centered, participatory approaches that engage communities, families, and local stakeholders in the design process. She has developed housing, urban, and interior projects across multiple scales, including more than 50 residential projects and participatory housing initiatives.
She has worked on ecological and self-sufficient modular housing prototypes in collaboration with institutions such as the University of Dar es Salaam and the Universidad Nacional de San Juan, integrating local knowledge and materials to create accessible, context-responsive, and replicable solutions for climate and social challenges.
Her recent work integrates neuroarchitecture and Human Centric Lighting (HCL), focusing on well-being, inclusion, and quality of life, particularly in vulnerable and community-based contexts.
