Delicious Chocolate Chip Muffins
Ingredients
• All-purpose flour – 2 cups (250g)
• Sugar – ¾ cup (150g)
• Baking powder – 2 tsp
• Salt – ¼ tsp
• Melted butter or oil – ½ cup (120ml)
• Milk – 1 cup (240ml)
• Egg – 1 large
• Vanilla – 1 tbsp
• Chocolate chips – 1 cup (170g), plus extra for topping
Instructions
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips in a bowl.
In another bowl, mix the melted butter or oil, milk, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; the batter should be thick.
Scoop the batter into muffin cups, filling them almost to the top for big, fluffy muffins. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on each muffin.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes, or until the tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let them cool slightly before serving.
