Can You Postpone Ukrainian Consulate Identification?

🔎 Know the facts about your uResidency application timeline!

❌ Myth: "I’ve already submitted my application, so I can take my time with consular identification."

✅ Reality: You have 90 days from the moment you receive the email confirming your application verification with the link to register for consular identification. If you miss this deadline, your application will be canceled, and you’ll have to start over.

📅 What should you do?
✔ Check your email for a confirmation message from Diia with a link to register at the Consulate
✔ Register for an appointment at the Consulate via E-Cherha.
✔ Attend your appointment and complete the identification process.

While completing your application to open a bank account through uResidency, you may come across fields requesting correspondent bank details.

❓ What does this mean?
A correspondent bank is an intermediary that facilitates international transfers between banks. In this case, it is used when transferring money from a Ukrainian account to your main bank.

💡 Where can you find this information?
You need to request the necessary bank details from the bank where your account is opened. This is standard practice for international SWIFT transfers.

⚠️ Why is this important?
Without accurate correspondent bank details, your SWIFT transfer cannot be processed. To avoid any delays, confirm all required information with your bank in advance.
