THE HEAD OF NOVOMEDIA HELD MEETINGS WITH THE LEADERS OF THE SLAVIC MEDIA IN CALIFORNIA

Ruslan Kukharchuk, the president of The Journalists Association “Novomedia”, was in Sacramento, California with working visit from February 1st to 11th . The purpose of the trip is to establish business contacts and partnership with local media that works for the Slavic diaspora.

REVIEW OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE NOVOMEDIA ASSOCIATION IN 2017

On January 31, members of The Novomedia Association and representatives of the Christian Evangelical mass media visited the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine. A meeting was held with Deputy Ambassador Emile Ben-Naftali and First Secretary and Head of the Political Department of the Reut Shapir Ben-Naftali Embassy. Earlier in December 2016, a group of Ukrainian Christian media journalists visited the Holy Land as part of the Novomedia Tour.

NOVOMEDIA FORUM 2017: HOW IT WAS

On November, 3-4th, the Nivki-hall in Kiev hosted over 350 journalists and media workers from all over the country. The 30 speakers from all media types joined them. This is a Novomedia Forum, a large-scale platform for professional implementation, a place of assembly of the media community based on professional standards and values.

SEVEN STEALING JOURNALISTS RECEIVED AWARDS NOVOMEDIA AWARDS

In the evening of November 4th, the Novomedia Awards ceremony took place in the complex Nivki-hall. Journalists and editors received awards for competent coverage of Christian values in their materials. The event gathered more than two hundred guests.

LEADERSHIP MEDIA SUMMIT IN DALLAS HAS GATHERED PARTICIPANTS FROM 20 COUNTRIES

In October, the second Leadership Media Summit took place in the US state of Texas. The event was organized by MEDIAlliance International, headed by Dr. Ronald Harris. The Dallas Baptist University (DBU) accepted delegates.

CHRISATIAN MEDIA SUMMIT IN JERUSALEM: FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON THE STATE LEVEL

More than 130 journalists and heads of media companies from 40 countries and all continents gathered in Jerusalem from the 15th until 18th of October for Christian Media Summit, organized at the initiative of Israel Government Media Office. It was the first time when the event of such format had taken place on the state level – in the year of the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem as a capital of modern Israel and on the eve of the 70-th anniversary of establishing of Jewish State.

THE NOVOMEDIA ASSOCIATION - PART OF THE PUBLIC COUNCIL UNDER THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION POLICY

MEDIA CONFERENCE GATHERED 170 PARTICIPANTS FROM FOUR COUNTRIES

At the end of March and the beginning of April, media representatives from four countries gathered to attend the training conference "Television, radio, social media and PR". The event at Khreschatik Hotel in Kiev was organized by The Journalists Association “Novomedia” (Ukraine) and MEDIAllianceInternational (USA). Hashtag has actually became an unofficial name of the event.

REWIEW OF ACTIVITIES OF THE NOVOMEDIA ASSOCIATION IN THE YEAR 2016

On January 2016 was published the second edition of the book "A New Journalist. How to master media profession." 20 actual media themes, 15 authors, 4 visual applications, 2 bonus interviews with famous TV broadcasters. All this within 224 pages. 15 experienced in media journalists had worked over the creation of the book "A New Journalist".

UKRAINIAN JOURNALISTS VISITED ISRAEL – THE POLITICAL AND CHRISTIAN ONE
The Novomedia tour to Israel by invitation of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held on 18-22th of December, 2016. The eight participants of the tour met with the Ministry officials, members of the Knesset and leaders of Christian organizations. Besides, last day the journalists had a chance to unofficially communicate with Zvi Magen, the first Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine and the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Absorption Prof. Zeev Hanin.

HEAD OF THE NOVOMEDIA ASSOCIATION VISITED MEDIA LEADERSHIP SUMMIT IN DALLAS

The International Media Leadership Summit held in Dallas from 8th to 14th of October. It gathered about thirty Christian leaders of media companies. Summit organized by MEDIAlliance International (President - Ron Harris). The base location for all events became Dallas Baptist University.
