Big News from Us.. We are thrilled to celebrate a massive achievement for one of our pioneer enterprises, !
​Co-founded by our exceptional pioneer scholars, Ocen, Viola Nakadama, and , this team has innovated a crucial solution for farmers by creating an animal booster product derived from the of the (BSF), addressing major feed challenges for farmers in the Buikwe district and across Uganda.
​Their hard work and idea paid off in a huge way: they were nominated and emerged as winners of a $7,500 startup fund from the Mastercard Foundation's Fund for impact ! 🏆

​The Impact of this Fund:
1. : The funding has already enabled them to purchase their own project land, significantly expanding their BSF production and processing capacity.
2. : They can now scale their sustainable innovation to reach and support more farmers than ever before with high-quality, eco-friendly feed.

​A huge thank you to the Mastercard Foundation for investing in the visionary ideas of problem-solvers like Elly, Violet, and Joseph who are driving the future of in Uganda.

Dear Friends of Kiira....
We're thrilled to announce that two of our innovative startups from Kiira Innovation Academy, NUTRICYCLE FARM UGANDA and Reearth Uganda, have been shortlisted for two prestigious projects!

They've been selected to participate in the 's 2nd Cohort of the Mastercard Foundation Fund for Alumni Startups in Transitions for YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa Alumni Chapter of Uganda. This is a testament to their hard work and dedication to creating impactful solutions.

Additionally, they've been shortlisted among the top 25 projects out of 100 submissions for the Africa Challenge! This recognition highlights their innovative approaches and potential for growth.

We're incredibly proud of NUTRICYCLE FARM UGANDA and Reearth Uganda's achievements and look forward to seeing their continued success. Congratulations to the teams!

Today marks day three of the Spark Master training at Lazima Innovation Hub where facilitators are equipped with the knowledge, tools and methods of supporting trainees become spark trainers of Spark.

Spark training is a program or session designed to ignite creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It often involves:

1. Interactive workshops
2. Hands-on activities
3. Mentorship
4. Networking opportunities
5. Idea generation and development

Spark training aims to equip participants with skills, knowledge, and confidence to drive innovation and growth.

Over the past three months, these talented scholars have undergone an intensive journey focused on personal and professional development. Building Bridges Through Sports!

This Easter we had the privilege once more of connecting with the Nyenga community through a football ⚽️ tournament slated to close up the Easter season. These exciting events not only showcased our teamwork and skills but also fostered meaningful connections, initiated new relationships, and strengthened our partnership with the community.

Through sports, we can break down barriers, build trust, and create a sense of belonging. We're grateful for the opportunity to engage with the Nyenga community in such a fun and interactive way.
