UWA are engaging communication officers of districts boardering National Parks in Uganda for a two day famillarisation tour that kicked off today 12th to 13 November 2025 at Queen Elizabeth National park. the main objective is to enable them understand wildlife and support government in promoting tourism in Uganda.

Bulambuli Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Edema Stephen Budraa has warned contractors against mismanagement of government projects.

While addressing contractors and Heads of Departments at pre contract signing meeting held on 28th October 2025 at the district headquarters

He urged contractors to complete the work with in the agreed time frame.He vowed to penalise those found to be breaching terms of contact ,doing shody works, and above all engaging in corrupt tendencies.

He a also appealed to contractors especially those operating in upper zone in the mountains to prioritize stocking enough building materials during dry season such that their construction could continue during heavy rains.

In conclusion, CAO urged all participants to ensure timely and proper implementation of projects as stated in their contracts and to provide quality works and services to the people of Bulambuli district.

Our PAS Mr. Gidoi Charles and ARDC Ms Caroline Neumbe have today 27th October 2025 received the findings got from the farmer profiling exercise carried out by PACODEF who are the lead implementer on NOSP project.
The project is implemented in the sub counties of Bukhalu, Bumufuni., Bunambutye and Nabbongo.
The project s goal is to enhance commercialisation and competitiveness of oil seeds production as a pathway to increase rural incomes and sustainable agro-industrialisation across Elgon region

Our district celebrates the victory upon becoming the National champions in Handball after beating Yumbe district in finals. The district has recorganised and appreciated the team over their efforts towards such a historical achievement.

A team of ministers led by Hon Judith Nabakoba yesterday visited our district and inspeccted different plots of land in a bid to resettle our people who were affected by disasters in Elgon sub region.

The state minister for relief, disaster preparedness, and refugees affairs, Hon Lililian Aber together with our district team led by PAS, LC5 and ARDc yesterday commissioned the piped water system at the Holding centre in Bunambutye resettlement camp.
The water system has six water points with seventeen taps being build by Texans and Ugandans on mission which were fully functional bring safe and reliable water closer to our people.

The district has today handed over 240 tarpaulins to 21 farmers groups from lower sub counties to improve post harvest handling of maize and rice. They were supplied by MAAIF under AVCp project.
The function was led by PAS and ARDC.

Newly appointed local government officers for our district are undergoing a two days induction training starting today 30th to 31st at the district headquarters to understand the ethics of a public servant.
