On behalf of Bundibugyo Community Library, I wish to inform all members on this platform that the Library in fully opened and in my observations some people seem not to be aware of the opening, accessing the Library is free of charge for those who are just coming to read and do research from the books available. But other services have a fee attached eg using computers and also I'm case one needs basic training in computer, secretarial services such as printing, photocopying, laminating, binding and many more are available at an affordable price. I encourage all of you to come and utilize the facility, it's a donation ESCO gave to Bundibugyo to strengthen and improve on education and literacy levels among many others. Let's not leave children redundant at home and roaming around villages and towns but rather emphasize the use of the Library to spend their time. For more information you can us on 0786429023/ 0779530980. Thanks.

INTER-SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION ON NOW, WELCOME TO COME AND WITNESS.

18/06/2019

Don't miss out on this year's BCL INTER-SCHOOL DEBATE CHAMPIONS which will take place on 28th June, 2019 at Bundibugyo Community Library, this is one of the ways to help students to learn to work together as a team, while also work independently, designating tasks among themselves within the given hour to deliver the best arguments possible.
Learners will develop a presence of mind and teaches them to think quickly on their feet and to make well-phrased points both while asking and discussing information views in a short period of time.

What an interesting moment running an inter-secondary school debate competition focused on girl child education, it is the first of the kind to be organised by Bundibugyo Community, it is our responsibility to embrace girl child education since the Library's role is to promote literacy in our society. Thanks to all schools that participated in this debate, we also appreciate the role played by the judges in this cause, we look forward to having this program run every year

What a pleasure it was addressing Student at Bumadu Seed S. S. About the importance of education and also addressing some issues that lead to early school drop out in Bundibugyo. Which I feel is also our responsibility as Bundibugyo Community Library to give guidance along side providing reading resources to our community.
