*Job Lazarus Okello's message to the opposition parties and politicians of Uganda ahead of the 2021 polls.*
"When the locusts are fighting, it's the joy of the hawks because if they kill each other, then the hawks get the food easily. As long as you're fighting among yourselves, you aren't fighting your enemies. You can't fight your enemies collectively while at the same time fighting among yourselves. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. You should always embrace each other, for your unity is more important than all your individual differences combined. You're only as strong as you're united. Unity is strength while division is weakness. And sticks in a bundle are unbreakable. Without a common purpose, unity is impossible. Disunity is a clear indication that the different parties involved have different purposes. As long as you are disunited, forget about ever claiming the presidency. It's upon the different political parties to decide what to do. However, they should all know that in life, we can make choices but we cannot choose the consequences of our choices, for every choice has its inbuilt consequences whether desirable or undesirable. A wise person makes a choice after he has first of all carefully calculated the possible consequences and is ready to face them. As the opposition politicians and/or parties, what choices have you made? What choices will you make? What are the possible consequences? Are you ready to face them? Will the choices put you in a pole position to claim the presidency? Will they really serve the interests of Ugandans or your own selfish interests? Are you really working for Ugandans or only yourselves and your families? Anyway, time will tell, for nothing lies to time. And history will judge you tomorrow based on what you do today. Alleluia."
