YELELE foundation(Young,Empowered,Lively,Exemporary,Loving/Lovable,and Enduring) is a community based organisation(CBO) registered in 2013 with IGANGA DISTRICT LOCAL GOVERNMENT. Yelele foundation engages rural youth and children in

community based projects to improve their lives and their environment,promote their rights,support rehabilitation and helping them to cope with challenges of childhood/youthful stage by facilitating mindset transformation in order to expand their horizon. Our geographical focus is BUSOGA REGION whose population is 8.6% of the whole ugandan population of which 2/3 are youth and children.a region with many challenges like abject poverty,high illiteracy levels,gender based violence,disease,Abuse among others which are responsible for the prevalent high youth/child offence rates.It's this cycle that we aim to reverse by working in partnership to allueviate them. The foundation seeks to promote a number of projects and activities to empower the youth and children through creative and innovative avenues so as to realise "A free, positive youth/child empowered to contribute to his/her community's development and sustainability" in the region generally and in bullamagi subcounty in particular. start up projects and activities like youth CYBER centre,youth RESOURCE/research centre,Gaming/Sporting centre(GYM),Music and Art centre(musical equipment),Vocational/Adult school AND Fundraising campaigns will leapfrog our rural youth and children helping to:
1.Empower the youth with communication skills and enable them to interact with other youth
elsewhereby sharing experiences.
2.Create awareness for improved literacy and household health
3.Combart illiteracy
4.Support and facilitate youth/child rehabilitation
5.Support and encourage youth/child Talent rediscovery.
