CPD in Records & Library management - focusing on information resources management system, with emphasis on local resources available (MS Access), DSpace & Koha ILS.

The training that started yesterday 13th November 2024, ends today 14th Nov. 2024.

We have received a warm reception and cooperation from Makerere University Business School as indicated by the Library management and the School's HR office.

The clarion call to the information managers is to maximize the knowledge and skills acquired from this training to make an impact in their respective workplaces. There is always room for improvement for those already running these systems. Yet, for participants without, the ball is in their courts to start something running, something that will improve their service provision.

ULIA leadership calls on LIS professionals and stakeholders working with information management spaces to strive for an improved quality of service that will enhance access to and utilization of information for decision-making and innovation.
