COMRADES IN THE STRUGGLE.

I hope everyone is doing well & standing firm.

Following the abduction of our comrade, friend & brother, Mr. MATHEW BAGONZA, on 25th, August, 2026, and the subsequent circulation of dehumanising & belittling images of him on the X/Twitter account of the CDF, alongside the numerous insulting attacks directed at our "servant leader, Chairman ODREK RWABWOGO," it is understandable that many of us have been deeply angered and disturbed. Such conduct has not only offended the Chairman's friends and supporters, but any sober-minded person who believes in human dignity, decency & responsible public discourse.

However, comrades, anger MUST not become our compass, and provocation MUST not determine our politics. History teaches us that those who are committed to a greater cause must possess the discipline to rise above the moment, however painful or provocative it may be. Therefore, I encourage all our members to ; "calm down-mwikaikane, relax-mutuze, and feel at home-muhumure." Let us reset, refocus and realign ourselves with our historic mission of building a better Uganda that works for everyone.

Let us continue to speak, organise, engage & communicate with courage, but without descending into insults, hatred or personal attacks!
Our strength has never been measured by how loudly we can insult our opponents, but by the depth of our ideas, the discipline of our conduct and the clarity of our purpose.
Let us not allow temporary provocation to derail us.

For God and for our country, let us remain calm, focused, disciplined and resolute.✊🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽

WHY ODREK RWABWOGO UNSETTLES THE POLITICAL ESTABLISHMENT.

When Mr ODREK RWABWOGO contested for NRM Chairman for Western Uganda in 2015, he sent shock waves far beyond the immediate contest. He unsettled not only those in power, but also political actors with ambitions for the highest office in the land.

At some point, some senior Bush War fighters pushed H.E the President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to stop him from continuing with his campaign meetings. Mr. Odrek Rwabwogo responded with the highest level of discipline, maturity and loyalty to the party and the President. He quietly retreated, but did not abandon the cause. Instead, he continued teaching NRM ideology & collective national values to citizens. That's when some political actors began looking at him with fear, as A POTENTIAL PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL. The blackmail & smear campaign followed, with the late Tamale Mirundi and others spreading harmful propaganda and character assassination!

Chairman ODREK RWABWOGO would occasionally come out to clear the air & debunk the allegations, before returning his focus to his work.
On 15th, August, 2021, President Museveni appointed Odrek Rwabwogo Senior Presidential Adviser on Special Duties.(SPA) In March 2022, the President officially launched the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID) under Rwabwogo's leadership, reporting directly to the Presidency.

This background is important because it exposes the politics behind the attacks against him. Let it be clear. "Rwabwogo is not being fought because of his ideas alone; he is being fought because some political actors fear what he could become. "Recently, he spoke about reforms within the NRM, and those who thrive in chaos responded with insults and personal attacks. Yet reform is not rebellion & political ambition is not a crime."
Rwabwogo is a Ugandan citizen with constitutional rights, individual interests like any other Ugandan, the right to participate in politics and aspire to any political office.
If his opponents disagree with his ideas, let them challenge his ideas. If they oppose his reforms, let them propose better reforms. If they question his leadership, let them present truthful facts.

Blackmail, propaganda & character assassination cannot substitute for political debate. The real question is whether the NRM can accommodate internal debate, generational renewal, institutional reform & legitimate political ambition without treating every emerging voice as a threat.
Those who fear ODREK RWABWOGO should not fear his name. They should challenge his ideas.
Because in politics, you defeat a political opponent through better politics-not through fear, blackmail or character assassination. "Let the contest be about ideas, leadership and Uganda, not concocted lies and manufactured hatred!

A LIFE OF HUMILITY, FAITH AND SERVANT LEADERSHIP.

On "Sunday, 9th May 1978," a baby girl was born to Yoweri K. Museveni and Janet K. Museveni. She was named Patience Kokundeka, the third child in their young family at the time.
From her childhood to this day, Patience has walked a remarkably simple, quiet & God-fearing path. Away from the noise of prominence and the privileges that come with her family background, she has distinguished herself through humility, wisdom, patience, compassion and an unwavering commitment to serving God and humanity.

Today, Bishop Patience Kokundeka Rwabwogo Museveni is a senior leader at Covenant Nations Church (CNC), an institution celebrating twenty (20) years of faithfully serving God and people from all walks of life. She is not merely a spiritual leader; she is a servant whose life speaks louder than titles. "She is a woman of deep humility, genuine compassion, unshakable integrity, wisdom and extraordinary patience." A gifted preacher, a deep intercessor, a leader, an author, a mother of four, a devoted wife, a patriot. Above all, she is a servant of God whose life continues to touch, inspire & transform others.

She can rightly be described as *a decorated general in God's army"-one who has fought many battles on her knees, carried many burdens in prayer, and continued to serve with grace, courage and quiet strength. Happily married to our elder Mr. Odrek Rwabwogo, she is blessed with four children, and together they have built a family anchored in faith, service and love.

As a matter of fact, among the children of President Yoweri K. Museveni and Maama Janet Museveni, Patience stands out for her extraordinary humility, knowledge, understanding & graciousness. Her life reminds us that true greatness does not always announce itself; "sometimes, it walks quietly, serves faithfully & leaves an indelible mark on the lives of others."

On Sunday, 23rd August 2026, Bishop Patience Kokundeka Rwabwogo Museveni will be consecrated as a Bishop, a momentous occasion marking another chapter in a life already deeply dedicated to God's service. `As she takes this sacred responsibility, may the Almighty God enlarge her territory, renew her strength, deepen her wisdom and anoint her afresh for the journey ahead.`

May God continue to use Bishop Patience Kokundeka Rwabwogo Museveni as an instrument of hope, healing, transformation & spiritual awakening. May her ministry reach generations yet unborn, and may her life continue to testify that true leadership is not about position, but about service.

Congratulations, Bishop Patience. May the grace of God upon your life never cease. πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

WHY GREAT LEADERS ATTRACT DISCIPLES.

Mathew 28:19. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”

There is a profound truth about leadership that history continues to demonstrate; great leaders do not merely attract followers; they inspire disciples. They do not build their influence primarily through power, positions or authority, but through service, character, knowledge, sacrifice, mentorship and a compelling sense of purpose.
This is the essence of SERVANT LEADERSHIP.

ROBERT K. GREENLEAF emphasized that a true servant leader seeks to serve others first. Such a leader listens before speaking, understands before judging, empowers rather than suppresses, builds rather than destroys, and develops people.
A servant leader is therefore, not defined merely by the position he occupies, but by the lives he touches and the leaders he creates.

The magnetism of servant Leadership. There is something uniquely magnetic about a servant leader. People are naturally drawn to individuals who demonstrate "humility without weakness, authority without arrogance, conviction without hatred and ambition without selfishness."
A servant leader does not have to demand loyalty. Their conduct creates loyalty.
They teach, listen, serve, share knowledge, open doors for others and develop people who may eventually become more influential than themselves. That is where discipleship begins. A DISCIPLE is not merely an admirer. A disciple is a learner, committed student and follower who seeks to understand, internalize & apply the values and principles demonstrated by the person from whom they learn.

JESUS CHRIST is the greatest example. Perhaps the most extraordinary one. It's more than two thousand years(2000+) after his earthly ministry, his teachings continue to be studied, preached and lived across the world.
Jesus did not build his movement through political office, military power or even material wealth. He taught, served, listened, mentored, demonstrated, corrected & empowered. He took ordinary people and invested in them until they became extraordinary instruments of a much larger mission.
He did not merely tell his "disciples" what to believe, he walked with them, they watched him serve, teach, demonstrate compassion, confront challenges and lead. Eventually, He entrusted the mission to them. "That is the power of discipleship."
"A servant leader does not simply leave behind memories, they leave behind people who carry the mission forward."

True discipleship MUST transform the whole person through the Triple H model;. HEAD, HEART & HAND.
HEAD. Represents knowledge-the ability to think critically, understand national challenges, appreciate history & understand leadership responsibilities.
HEART. Represents character-integrity, patriotism, humility, courage, empathy, discipline & responsibility.
HAND. Represents action-organizing, mobilizing, solving problems, serving the country, mentoring others & turning ideas into results. "The head gives knowledge, the heart gives character, the hand gives action."
CHAIRMAN ODREK RWABWOGO is described by his followers as a teacher and mentor, while also describing himself as a student of leaders and thinkers who influenced his understanding of leadership, including;. H.E, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni & the late President Julius Kambarage Nyerere. "That is how a legacy becomes generational."

Our responsibility as "Disciples of Odrek Rwabwogo" goes beyond admiration of an individual. Our commitment is demonstrated through learning, character, service, organization and action.
We shall continue to teach, organize, serve and mentor others. "We shall continue to pursue political, social and economic transformation based on shared national values and interests."
Chairman Odrek Rwabwogo said that I quote "Uganda's future will not be determined only by the leaders we have today, but by the leaders we prepare for tomorrow."
The greatest tribute a disciple can give a teacher is not applause. It is transformation.
The ultimate test of a servant leader is what happens when the leader is no longer in the room. If the principles, and the values continue and a new generation of capable leaders emerges, then a true legacy has been created.

JESUS CHRIST, left this world more than two thousand years ago, yet the message he entrusted to his disciples continues to travel from generation to generation.
"A servant leader may have one lifetime, but the leaders they develop can influence generations."
As the "Disciples of Odrek Rwabwogo," we SHALL endeavor to prepare the next generation through teaching young people to "think, serve, lead, organize & put national interest above narrow personal interests." Because the real measure of leadership is not;
β€œHow many people followed me?”
The greater question is:
β€œHow many people became better leaders because I served them?”
That is the heart of servant leadership.
That is the power of discipleship and that is how we shall build a better Uganda that works for all.

THE JOURNEY OF COVENANT NATIONS CHURCH (CNC).

Covenant Nations Church (CNC), under the leadership and spiritual oversight of Pastor Patience Kokundeka Rwabwogo, is celebrating an important milestone; 20 years of ministry, growth and service to God and His people.
Over the past two decades, CNC has grown from its beginnings as a single local congregation into a ministry with several branches both within Uganda & beyond Uganda's borders. These congregations are led by pastors who continue to advance the vision, values, doctrine, and calling established by the founder and spiritual leader.

Another important aspect of CNC's growth is its Bible College, which equips and trains ministers & preachers for Christian service. Through theological and ministerial training, the college contributes to developing leaders who can carry the church's doctrine, vision, values, and mission into different communities and nations.
This growth also helps explain the significance of the forthcoming ordination of Pastor Patience Kokundeka Rwabwogo as a Bishop on 23rd, August, 2026.

In many Christian traditions, the word "BISHOP" comes from the Greek 'episkopos,' meaning overseer or superintendent. While a pastor primarily shepherds & provides spiritual leadership to a local congregation, a bishop provides broader oversight to several churches, pastors and ministry leaders within a particular network, region, or denomination. Therefore, the "TRANSITION" from Pastor to Bishop should not simply be understood as a change of title. It reflects the growth of the ministry & the broader responsibility that comes with overseeing pastors, congregations, and the wider work of the church.

After 20 years of ministry, the emergence of several congregations, the raising & training of ministers through the Bible College, and the expansion of the church beyond its original congregation, the episcopal role can be seen as an extension of the responsibility that has already developed within the ministry.
The ordination on "23rd, August, 2026" will mark another significant chapter in the history of Covenant Nations Church, celebrating not only the ministry's past 20 years, but also its expanding responsibility, leadership structure and vision for the future.

Twenty years of building, twenty years of raising leaders, twenty years of spreading the Gospel." And now, another chapter of greater spiritual oversight & responsibility.

May Almighty God continue to guide Pastor Patience Kokundeka Rwabwogo and the entire Covenant Nations Church family as they enter this new chapter of ministry. πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

MY OBSERVATION.

When you critically examine the conversations across various social media platforms, one striking observation emerges; a significant number of individuals & groups who routinely insult, blackmail, malign, or engage in character assassination against our leader, "Chairman Odrek Rwabwogo," have, in reality, never meaningfully interacted with him-either personally, by telephone, or through any substantive engagement on national, political, economical or personal matters.

Yet, despite having little or no first, hand experience with the person they condemn, some have demonstrated remarkable consistency & determination in propagating narratives that appear to be built more on hearsay, assumptions, political interests & preconceived hostility than on facts or personal knowledge!

There is a saying in Buganda: 'NKYAYILAKKO' literally meaning β€œI hate this person on someone else’s behalf.” In Runyakitara, a similar expression is 'MUNYANGIREHO.' These expressions capture a political and social phenomenon where individuals adopt hostility toward others, not because of their own experiences or convictions, but because they have been persuaded, influenced or mobilised to do so by someone else!

Such a culture can easily flourish in an environment where "independent thought is weak, political discourse is shallow and people are more comfortable repeating narratives than interrogating them." And, with humility, I can acknowledge that none of us is completely immune to such tendencies. We are all capable of being influenced by our environments & the information we consume. However, sees beyond the noise of politics, propaganda, and public perception.

Human beings may construct narratives, manipulate opinions, and temporarily distort the truth, but ultimately, truth does not require propaganda to survive!

Some disagreement should not automatically become personal hostility, disagreeing with a leader or with an individual-on one, two, or even several issues does not make that person an enemy. Equally, believing in someone does not require us to defend everything they say or do!

No individual, political movement or generation has a monopoly on wisdom, knowledge, or understanding about everything. "Leadership itself is a continuous learning process and society progresses when people are willing to listen, question, disagree respectfully and learn from one another." Therefore, let us challenge ideas without destroying people, debate policies without manufacturing enemies & disagree without descending into hatred & character assassination!

Let us do everything with maturity, intellectual independence, humility and respect for each other. "Because at the end, history does not only judge what we believed, it also judges how honestly we arrived at what we believed, how we treated those with whom we disagreed, and whether we contributed to building or destroying the society we claimed to serve."

SOCCER MUST UNITE, NOT DIVIDED US.

On Sunday, 2nd August 2026, the Servant Leader, Chairman Odrek Rwabwogo honored an invitation from the organizers of the Ankore Football Tournament to officiate at the semi-final matches. His attendance was driven by a long-held conviction that sports are more than recreation; they are a powerful platform for identifying, nurturing, & developing talent, instilling discipline, and preparing the next generation to build a better Uganda that works for everyone.
Throughout the event, Chairman Odrek Rwabwogo remained fully engaged. He interacted with community leaders, tournament organizers, stakeholders, players, and football enthusiasts, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment through sports, mentorship and leadership development.
Unfortunately, as the tournament drew to a close, what had been a peaceful & non-partisan sporting event was overshadowed by regrettable incidents. According to accounts from our team, a political actor from Bushenyi District mobilized a small group of individuals whose conduct disrupted the spirit of harmony that had characterized the tournament. Such actions, if true, are deeply unfortunate because they undermine the very values that sports are meant to promote-unity, respect, peaceful competition, and social cohesion.

It is both regrettable and concerning when leaders, who should inspire young people to embrace patriotism, constitutionalism, the rule of law and peaceful democratic engagement, instead appear to encourage division, hostility, and unnecessary confrontation.
Uganda deserves leadership that builds bridges, not barriers, leadership that unites communities rather than exploiting differences for personal or political gain.
Despite these distractions, the overwhelming success of the tournament could not be diminished. The warmth, enthusiasm & goodwill shown by the people of Ankore reaffirmed a simple truth;. "Positive leadership will always triumph over intimidation, and constructive engagement will always outlive the politics of hostility."

The bottomline is that "Chairman Odrek Rwabwogo" stands among the foremost supporters of the 2026 Ankore Football Tournament. His consistent support reflects a genuine belief that the future of Uganda lies in investing in young people through talent identification, skills development, mentorship and strategic opportunities that enable them to compete at regional, continental, and international levels.

The Ankore region possesses immense sporting potential, with deliberate investment, proper organization and visionary leadership, it can produce footballers capable of representing Uganda with distinction on the international stage.

Talent alone is not enough-it requires guidance, opportunity, discipline, and leaders who understand that nurturing human capital is a national responsibility.

"As we move forward, we respectfully appeal to all leaders to distinguish personal ambitions from our collective national interests. Political differences should never be imported into community initiatives that exist to unite our people & inspire our youth."

The Uganda we all desire will not be built through blackmail, intimidation, or endless political antagonism. It will be built through dialogue, mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and a shared commitment to the common good.

That is the Uganda we owe our children, that is the Uganda we must build together,
and that is how we shall peacefully transition from one stage of our national journey to the next-a Uganda that truly works for all.

A DECADE LATER AT NALI-KYANKWANZI.

By; Mr Resistor of Uganda πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬

"Why the Regeneration of the NRM Cannot Wait."

Returning to the National Leadership Institute (NALI) Kyankwanzi after ten years was more than a nostalgic journey, it was a moment of reflection, learning and renewed conviction. Walking through the institution that helped shape my ideological outlook reminded me that strong political movements are not sustained by chance, they endure through deliberate mentorship, principled leadership, and continuous investment in their own people.
One lesson stood out clearly. A political organization risks weakening itself when it neglects the cadres it has patiently nurtured while placing greater emphasis on recruiting from outside its ranks. Welcoming new members is healthy and necessary for any vibrant movement, but it should never come at the expense of those who have remained committed through years of sacrifice and service!

A tree cannot flourish if its roots are neglected. You cannot cut the roots while continuing to water the branches & bexpect a lasting harvest. Likewise, you cannot plant a good seed, nurture it with patience, remove the weeds around it and then uproot it just as it begins to bear fruit because of the excitement surrounding a new variety!

Sustainable leadership is built through continuity, mentorship, and institutional memory, not quick shortcuts.

Our elders wisely say in Runyakitara, "Noyombeka kandi orukushenya"-literally meaning that, "You build as you destroy." It is a powerful reminder that institutions can unintentionally undermine themselves if they fail to protect the very foundations upon which they were built!

I firmly believe that the future of the National Resistance Movement-NRM, lies in the three(3) RS;. "REGENERATION, REVIVAL, and REFORM." These are not slogans but strategic imperatives.

The Movement 'MUST' continue welcoming those joining from other political backgrounds with open minds & goodwill, while equally protecting, mentoring, and strategically positioning its loyal cadres. Leadership development is not an event; it is a disciplined process that demands patience, consistency, humility, and time.

During my visit, I quietly separated from my team for over an hour to observe, reflect and think critically about the journey of our Movement and our country. I also had the privilege of reconnecting with two colleagues from my 2016 intake and two of our former instructors. Meeting `Afande Chapa Chapa` once again brought back memories of the values, discipline, and patriotism that NALI seeks to instill in every participant.

As I left Kyankwanzi, one conviction became even stronger, the responsibility of preserving & strengthening the NRM does not rest with its founders alone. It belongs to every generation that inherits it. "Our duty is not merely to preserve the Movement but to regenerate it, reform it where necessary, and revive its founding ideals so that it remains relevant for generations to come."

That is how we shall honour the foundation laid by our elders-not by replacing it, but by strengthening it. And that is how we shall build a stronger NRM and a better Uganda that works for all.

27/06/2026

This is how some funny people spend their time fighting among themselves to prove who is stronger, more influential, or more powerful, while losing sight of the real challenges that threaten their common purpose!

That's how many institutions, organizations and even nations are weakened, and destroyed.

Energy that should be directed toward solving real problems is instead wasted on petty rivalries, personal egos, and trivial conflicts. In the process, people unknowingly destroy something far greater than themselves, an institution, a vision, or a legacy that could have benefited future generations!

"Strength is not demonstrated by defeating your colleagues, it is demonstrated by standing together to overcome the real enemy."
Internal divisions rarely produce winners-they only leave everyone weaker. Let us learn an important lesson from this misguided and unjust war!
