The objectives of ACF Missions is to bring about sustainable changes that will impact lives in Africa - leading souls to Christ, discipleship programs, caring for the sick, starting small businesses, educating children, feeding the hungry, ...and comforting those who are discouraged through partnerships with churches, local missionaries, local communities and other organizations in Africa. The Core Programs are:
Education/Child Support: ACF Provides elementary, secondary and university education to over 150 children in Uganda. It costs annually $350 per child per year ($1,500 for those in the university).
We need more sponsors and you can even team with others to co-sponsor a child, if you cannot afford it alone.
Medical: ACF has been doing medical missions in Africa since 1990. We currently have a medical clinic in Uganda, that was commissioned in Aug. 2010, and need donations for medical equipment and supplies.
Economic Empowerment: In most countries in Africa, one could setup a small business with $500. ACF has economic empowerment programs Benin Republic and Uganda. During the 2009 summer missions trip, we invested about $3,000 to start many small businesses in the two countries. More resources are needed to expand this program.
Humanitarian Relief: ACF provides food, clothing, and basic necessities along with spiritual counseling to meet the people’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Other Needs: A camera that is able to capture TV quality pictures, laptop computers (new or used), and two digital cameras.
