This scripture reveals who we are in Christ

As a people whose status has been described in 1peter 2:9 how do we exercise our role as the kingdom ambassadors?

We should serve with the gifts God has entrusted us with!

Abilities God has given to each one of us not to boast about Them but to be used for the glory of the Kingdom of God

1corinthians 4:1-5
Our God judges us merciful..not as the world does!

The Lord requires us to Renew our Mind!
We should not be comformed to the standards of this world!..

We should set our eyes on God to live forever with him!
Romans 8 : 11

Why does the church exist?

Matt. 28 Verses 19 to 20
[19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.

You and me are as a result of the preaching of the disciples.... PREACHING ABOUT JESUS CHRIST.

preaching the word of God is not for ONLY THE PASTOR BUT FOR EVERY BELIEVER.

A church that do not do great commission becomes dead.

As a CHURCH WE OUGHT TO EDIFY ONE ANOTHER.

Ephesians 4: 11
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.

As believers we need to fellowship together and the encourage each other to grow in the LORD.

As a church we help one another.

Acts 2:44-46
All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

Acts 6;1-4
In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Hellenistic Jews[a] among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. 2 So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, “It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. 3 Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them 4 and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.”

As a church
we need to stand firm and KNOW THAT GOD IS WITH US.

THAT WE GROW AS A CHURCH THAT WILL SAY NOO TO EVIL.

THE CHURCH THAT WILL LOVE ON EACH OTHER.

We should Represent God the way he is!

Bearing fruits that last
Emulating christ

*Conclusion*
We should know why we are saved
We must tell of the goodness of God to all people
Let's represent God's kingdom wherever we are!

1 Peter 2:9 NIV

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

You are a chosen RACE AND CHOSEN GENERATION.

You are GODS OWN.. ORDAINED AND ANOINTED.

You ought to remind every situation that you are of GOD.

GOD HIMSELF CALLS YOU OUT OF DARKNESS INTO HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT

God gets us from far to His light and that can not be taken for granted.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

We need to preach the gospel to people and TAKE JESUS TO THE BROKEN

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isaiah 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Acts 26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
Acts 26:17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

King Nebuchadnezzar made a decree to all people in his kingdom to worship The Golden image or else be cast in the burning furnace many succumbed to the decree apart from Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego

They were fully surrendered to trust God

God doesn't need to convince us to trust him at all times

God walks with us in the challenges and tribulations he doesn't necessary take them away rather he takes a walk with us so that all the glory goes back to him!
*another in the fire*

Even when he doesn't do according to our plans he still remains God

God works in Our Limits and extremes.. so that we glorify his work in Us

Don't bow to anything , don't give in. to the today's pressure of things!

The God we Serve is ready to deliver us in any circumstance we are in

No matter the Situation don't bow down to the devil!
Don't compromise!
Serve your God
Know the God you Serve!
