The number of Newly registered cars reduced by 14.8% from 14,721 cars of Q2 - 2025/26 to 12,540 cars of Q3 of 2025/26.

Newly registered Tricycles increased from 2,929 to 3,162 in the same period.

Motor cycles increased from 46,235 to 50,489 in the same period.

The Government Net revenue decreased by 7.2% to Shs 8,500.1 billion in Q3 2025/26 from Shs 9,157.8 billion in Q2 2025/26.

Tax revenue was the biggest contributor with 8,196.6 billion, accounting for 95% of the revenue in Q3 2025/26.
Donor disbursements decreased to Shs 565.9

Here are a few highlights on the Secondary Education in Uganda, based on the findings from the Baseline Education Census (BEC) 2025.

📌A Total of 5,498 Secondary schools were captured during the Census.

📌4,014 private schools were captured

📌1,484 were Public secondary schools were captured

📌 2,008,133 learners were recorded

📌 1,069,855 Females and 938,278 Males students were captured

The Baseline Education Census (BEC) captured 830 Non-Tertiary Institutions, 137 being Public and 693 are Private institutions.

The National total of Learners accrues to 74,024, with 38,906 Males and 35,118 Females.

Public institutions had 25,351 Learners: Males - 16,331 Females - 9,020

Private Institutions had 48,673 Learners: Males - 22,575 Females - 26,098
