CALL FOR RESEARCH GRANTS
The Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council Registrar invites applications for the Nursing and Midwifery Research Grants 2022 for Nurses and midwives in Uganda.

This will enhance nurses’ and midwives’ abilities to generate evidence that would inform policies, standards, and regulations that impact the practice and development of the Nursing and Midwifery professions in Uganda under the Act under section 3(g).

All interested candidates will be required to forward their applications by email only to the following address: [email protected] not later than September 16th, 2022 at 00.00 EAT.

NOTICE ON BOOKING FOR INTERVIEWS
It has come to our notice that in the recent past, some individuals (“Fraudulent Individuals”) have misled the candidates by fictitiously claiming to be from Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) or posing as allowed announcements/notices of UNMC with the purpose of defrauding nurses and midwives.
The public is informed that Booking an Appointment for Interviews is through the following means;

2. Email: [email protected]
3. Facebook feeds at https://www.facebook.com/unmc.ug
Please indicate your phone number, training school, program/ course, and month and qualifying year.
Call between 8:30 a.m and 4:30 p.m from Monday to Friday unless it is a Public Holiday.
The Council does not collect money for scheduling/bookings for any interview. Please back out if anyone asks you for money to book for an interview.
Please Note: Individuals who are not formally booked by UNMC will not be handled.

Dear esteemed clients,
Management is grateful for your contribution towards the successes attained by UNMC despite challenges faced throughout the year. You have been part of the processes started in response to addressing these challenges.
Because of a backlog of work, council staff will not serve clients at the head office effective Thursday 23rd December 2021 until Monday 3rd January 2022.
We advise all Nurses and midwives due for renewals by 31 December 2021 to renew their practicing licenses at your nearest UNMC regional satellite center. For those from central or near Kampala can get bank details at the Council and make their payments before 31st December 2021.
