PUBLIC ALERT
Some people are removing road signs and names recently installed.

Why road signs and names are important!

1. Safety
Warn of hazards: Signs alert drivers to dangers like sharp turns, pedestrian crossings, or school zones.
Regulate behavior: Speed limits, stop signs, and no-entry signs help prevent accidents and manage traffic flow.

2. Navigation
Direction guidance: Road names and directional signs help drivers and pedestrians reach their destinations without confusion.
Emergency response: Ambulances, fire services, and police rely on road signs and names to locate incidents quickly.

3. Law enforcement
Road signs make it possible to enforce traffic laws. Violating posted rules (like speeding or ignoring a stop sign) can lead to legal consequences.

4. Efficient traffic flow
Signs help control the movement of vehicles, reducing congestion and delays at intersections and busy roads.

5. Civic organization
Road names give identity to places, help with property addresses, and are essential for services like deliveries, public transport, and utility maintenance.

Note: Removing road names and signs is a criminal offence, you can be charged in Court!
