Services.
Partnerships and collaborations are key to bring services closer to communities. Together with MULIA Foundation and Marko - Lukooya Memorial Community Library we hosted day one of the digital training for access of government services at Ancilla Inclusive Vocational Professional School . This is one of government partnership through Communications Commission. Today we taught over 100 community members how to register their businesses online. The training was inclusive with possibility of supporting PWDs. The training will take three days with navigation of all other E-government services.

The Government of Uganda through Communication Commission is committed to making government services accessible to all. We're partnering with the MULIA Foundation MULIA Foundation to offer training on E-Government services in Mukono district. 100 people will learn how to access services like passport applications, driving licenses, and business registration at Ancilla Inclusive Vocational Professional starting 17th to 20th February. 20 of Our Library literacy champions today joined the botcamp for to learn. We join the different libraries from the country for 2 day in the camp with different activities.
This camp is a boost for the year in our library activities.

Our community library was the first initiative of the Music For Life Africa Foundation in 2014. To date, thousands of children from over 6 villages have benefited from this community resource, with support from numerous people worldwide, including Marshal Wiebe, Foo, , Book Aid International , and many more. We're proud that last week, over 12 champions trained by graduated to help extend the reading circle to other families through our mobile library initiative on bikes at American Centre Kampala. We're thrilled to announce a major milestone for our livelihood program: the launch of the
Presidium under Slow Food Uganda on November 29th, 2023!
This Presidium aims to: Sustain the production of high-quality, endangered indigenous chicken breeds, Protect unique regions and ecosystems, Recover traditional processing methods, and Safeguard native breeds and local plant varieties.
Through this initiative, Slow Food empowers farmers with tools to preserve and utilize products at risk of extinction, generating income in the process.
The launch was witnessed by The Slow Food International president Edie Mukiibi with over 30 Slow Food representatives from 10 African countries during their learning visit in Uganda.

Music For Life Africa Foundation will coordinate the Presidium, working alongside the dedicated Presidium committee, comprised of experienced farmers from our program. Over time 200 families will be able to benefit from this initiative hence community empowerment and contributing to good, clean, and fair food.
We're confident that this project will significantly increase local chicken and egg production in Bbanda villages, increasing household incomes and a brighter future for the community.

Access to education worldwide is still a problem, different innovations are being set to bring education closer to the people who need it most in Africa. At Music For Life Africa Foundation in Uganda through Marko - Lukooya Memorial Community Library library we use mobile bike libraries and bring closer access to library books to families in deeper villages. Sir Appolo Kagwa SS Nazigo Seeta is one of the schools we work with having students who are visually impaired. Today we delivered Braille reading books with Daniel Njumba. Daniel is an old student from the same school with visual impairment. These books support our outreach program in the school during reading clubs on weekends led by . Thank you to friends from Ekam Volunteers in Boston for packing these books. PWDs need to access such materials to learn like other students. We shall embark on tech to empower them as there are changes in literature creation.
