World Teacher's Day celebrations today.
Happenning now, Kitgum District celebrations is underway in Namokora Town Council.
Sadly on the other note, celebrations for Kitgum Municipality has been postponed until saturday 14th oct. This is so because the teaching fratenity in Kitgum Municipality is still grieving the lost of a fallen he**in, madam Apokowat Lilly, who was by the time of her demise, a teacher of Pandwong Muslim Primary School.
The deceased also hails from Namokora sub county.
A message from UNATU Chairperson Kitgum Municipality read:
"We found it unwise to hold the celebration at a time we are in sorrow"

ON THE SPOT!
A primary school teacher attached to Deite Hill Primary School in Namokora Sub County was this morning arrested and handed over to the police on an alleged crime of defilement on a 15year old girl who is also a pupil and a P.7 candidate in the very school he teaches.
The culprit has been identified as one Mr, ONEK JOHN BOSCO.
