Reading the discourse of Jesus with Samaritan woman in John 4 especially verses 25 to 26. Jesus chooses to plainly reveal himself to an adulter. Why? Was it so that she believe that he is the Messiah or so that she could believe in him as Lord and savior? Paul made it his custom to preach that Jesus is the Christ Acts 17:2-3 and the all the Apostles everywhere made it the subject of their teaching and preaching. Why? Is it because they wanted us to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior or to believe that Jesus is the Messiah? Then John 20:31. Can we say it says those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior will have life in his name? Why did they not preach like that instead they choose to prove and preach him as the Messiah/Christ?
