2026 Notice of Assessment

The 2026 Notices of Assessment have been mailed out by the Tax Assessors’ Office.

If you wish to appeal your property value or need to file a homestead exemption application, please contact the Tax Assessors’ Office by October 5, 2026.

As your Tax Commissioner, I want to clarify that my office does not determine property values. The Tax Commissioner’s Office is responsible for collecting taxes based on the values established by the Tax Assessors’ Office.

However, I wanted to make sure everyone is aware that if you do not receive your Notice of Assessment in the mail, you should contact the Tax Assessors’ Office. They can assist you with questions about your property value, the appeal process, or filing a homestead exemption application.

Please remember: The deadline to file an appeal or homestead application is October 5, 2026.
