In honor of National Police K-9 Day, we remember K-9 Fundi and his partner, our Lodge's namesake, Officer John "Dooley" Hardy.

On December 23, 1992, Officer John "Dooley" Hardy was tragically shot in the line of duty during a traffic stop. K-9 Fundi went on to serve the department through 1999. Today, the Abbeville Police Department honors their sacrifice and service with a permanent memorial wall inside the station.
