We will be in yet another Red Flag Warning. You know the drill. No burning, no discarding ci******es, be cautious with chains dragging on the road, etc.

Farmers, a tank of water filled, along with a disc isn't a bad idea going into the weekend.

If you see even a small fire, please call it in as a small fire can grow so quickly in these conditions.

While heading to a major fire Vickie had a blow out that took her into on coming traffic. Her quick thinking kept her from striking two other vehicles. Always pay attention you never know when or where it can happen. Thank you to the Malone Co Op for coming out and helping her and getting the truck of the highway.

It has been a hard month on all the fire departments with lack of rain. Every department in the county is working hard to keep you safe.

Thank you Abbott, Bynum, Hillsboro, and Aquilla for a job well done.

Basic familiarization for two new members to Abbott VFD. This allows them to see what the other members of the crew could be handling at any time as well as help them see what the future could look like to them. We are always looking for volunteers. All help is appreciated.
