70th Regiment - Show Us Your Shot! Vaccines available for those that want to protect themselves and others from COVID19!

#ShowUsYourShot!

We asked Maryland National Guard members why they got their #COVID19 vaccination. For this Soldier, he got vaccinated for his wife and to #StopTheSpread.

The COVID-19 vaccine works with your immune system so your body will be ready to fight the virus if you are exposed. The vaccines are shown to be highly effective at preventing serious illness from COVID-19, and will also help protect the people around you.

A message to the force from Brig. Gen. Janeen Birckhead and Command Sgt. Maj. James Nugent.

Last year, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) encountered almost 8,000 reports of sexual assault. There's a human being behind every single number that we have a responsibility to look out for.

The Maryland National Guard members serving next to each one of us are our family. Treat them as such. Be there there for them, as they should always be there for you.
