Patriot Day | The U.S. Army remembers the attacks on 9/11

September 11, 2001, changed more than the skyline of New York City. The attacks 20 years ago changed a generation of Americans, our Army and our world. That day's destruction and devastation did not condemn this country to a future filled with fear. It made us stronger. We observe Patriot Day annually on September 11 as a National Day of Service and Remembrance for the thousands of lives lost in the 9/11 attacks.

At CMA, the safety of the public and our environment is a #1 priority. The Colorado State University Pueblo Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics program has been partnering with the #PCD Environmental Management Office to relocate prairie dogs from areas around Pueblo to the depot. This preserves the wildlife from dangerous and developing sections in the local community, and ensures the population continues to thrive at PCD.

Women have served in the United States Army since 1775 and may serve in all Army career fields. Though our Military has made many strides to eliminate barriers to service, we must remain dedicated to the idea that our nation is not complete until every American receives equal protection and opportunity under the law.
