The U.S. Army’s most recent network technical exchange meeting (TEM) provided not only direct warfighter feedback, but also high-level perspective on the Army’s network strategy and support to Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2). This TEM was the seventh in a series of semi-annual forums that are hosted with industry partners in order to maintain open communication on the service’s priorities for network modernization and keep pace with commercial technology advancements.

TEM 7 was primarily informational, outlining the design goals and specific focus areas for the Army’s future Capability Sets – a two-year delivery process the service uses to insert new network and mission command technologies into the force.

This #PhotoFriday captures that great work that was done at #PC21! 👏👏👏

While other supporting exercises and experiments have been conducted throughout the year, Project Convergence 21 was the culmination and demonstration of the U.S. Army's next generation of capabilities. Those technologies and capabilities will enable the Joint Force unrivaled combat overmatch.

Although, the #Soldier is always the “center of the formation,” #PC21 looked to incorporate artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomy, robotics, common data standards and architectures to more quickly make decisions across multiple domains of operations.

The 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division changed up the standard Fort Polk-based Joint Rotation Training Center (JRTC) for a home-station Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center rotation recently, where the unit evaluated the Integrated Tactical Network (ITN), featuring PM Tactical Radios’ Manpack and Leader Radios and the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) waveform, to evaluate long-range communications capabilities required to fight in an archipelago training environment. The joint exercise, featuring observer-controller-trainers from JRTC, was a follow-on to the 3-25’s #BroncoRumble exercise in October, which also featured the ITN to extend communications across the Hawaiian Islands. Home-station joint training provides a more realistic, and cost-effective environment for brigades not housed on the mainland. https://www.dvidshub.net/news/410177/25th-infantry-divisions-use-integrated-tactical-network 25th ID Commanding General U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Assistant Secretary of the Army - Acquisition, Logistics & Technology U.S. Army Futures Command U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence U.S. Army Combined Arms Center Aberdeen Proving Ground US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command C5ISR Center U.S. Army Mission Command Center of Excellence Office of the Army Chief Information Officer U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center #ForgeTheFuture #TomorrowIsWorthSaving #ArmyModernization #ArmyModernization #ArmyNetwork

Congratulations to Ms. Meghan Perkins, former Business Management Chief for Project Manager (PM) Tactical Radios, PEO C3T, for being selected as the winner of the Business Operations Professional of the Year in the 2021 Army Acquisition Executive's Excellence in Leadership Awards! Meghan earned this high honor by managing business operations for the Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) modernization plan and the Handheld, Manpack and Small Form Fit (HMS) radio program’s Full Rate Production (FRP) decision. She leveraged the new Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA) process for the ITN, which led to the fielding of four Brigade Combat Teams just one year after MTA approval. For HMS, her skillful management of the ACAT 1 milestone documentation resulted in the FRP, which is allowing the Army to immediately procure modern radios to enhance Solder communications.
