As they posted to Facebook, “You're cordially invited to our grand 100th birthday party celebration! Join us virtually on Facebook Live at 5pm (ET) on January 7th for a fun-filled ceremony and delightful cake cutting. Don't miss out on the excitement!”

You can help decrease the su***de rates of veterans and service members by knowing the signs and memorizing the number of the Veterans Crisis Line (Dial 988, then press 1).

Even one death by su***de is too many.

Santa's visit to VFW Post 10028 was a powerfully heartwarming experience for the children, who glowed with delight as they received their gifts. They were clearly thrilled by his unexpected visit and the fact that he had time to play games with them!

Starting this year (2024-2025) Mentoring for Leadership is no longer its own Program. It has instead been absorbed into Extension & Revitalization, but the purpose remains the same: to educate and inspire future leaders within the organization.

Writes National Chief-of-Staff Betty Arnold, “We must ensure that the legacy (of the VFW Auxiliary) continues through strong and healthy Auxiliaries comprising members who are prepared to take on leadership roles to continue to move the VFW Auxiliary forward.”
