We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Stafford-Young Family Reunion for their incredibly generous donation to the Aberdeen-Huntington Township Fire & EMS.
Support from our community helps us continue providing the highest level of emergency services, maintain our equipment, and ensure our firefighters and EMS personnel are prepared to answer the call whenever our neighbors need us.
Your generosity and commitment to supporting our department is truly appreciated. We would like to thank Jeremy Woodward of Express Medical Services in Owensville OH for installing our Ferno INX cot in squad 390. He provided quick, efficient, and professional service as he helped with another step towards getting a third squad in service as we slowly build up our EMS program. He also quickly found a short on our 2nd out engine which has haunted us for a couple years and got it repaired. If you need professional service on your emergency vehicles we highly recommend his services. He can be contacted at 513-214-6285

Today was a full day of community PR for our department, on top of the few calls we handled throughout the day. Being a volunteer firefighter and life squad member is about so much more than making runs, it’s about helping people and supporting our community whenever we’re needed.
We spent some of the day at the library showing kids and their families our equipment, gear, and trucks. The smiles, questions, and excitement made it worth every minute.
Later, a village member reached out asking if we could assist them spray down areas in the park to get ready for the 4th of July and of course we gladly stepped in.
Days like today remind us why we volunteer — serving, teaching, and lending a hand wherever we can. We are proud to be part of this community. 🚒 🚑 🇺🇸

Our members spent several hours this weekend completing annual NFPA hose testing - pushing through more than 6,000 feet of hose, with more still to go.
Days like this are more than just maintenance. They give our members hands‑on opportunities to learn and teach about hose operations, pump work, friction loss, and the many skills that keep our department running safely and efficiently. By doing the testing ourselves, we also save the department money and strengthen our teamwork.
A huge thank‑you to everyone who showed up, put in the work, and helped make the day a success. Your dedication is what keeps this department moving forward.

Although we are a small department, we carry a big heart. What we lack in numbers, we make up for in dedication, compassion, and the kind of teamwork that can’t be taught. Every shift you give, every volunteer call you make, every patient you comfort, and every challenge you face shows just how powerful a small crew can be. You prove every day that impact isn’t measured by size — it’s measured by heart, and this team has plenty of it. I want to thank this department and all members of EMS out there for the strength, the service, and the unwavering commitment. Happy EMS Week to the few who make a difference.
