🚒 Project Update: Aberdeen Fire Rescue Brush Truck

We’re pleased to share that Midwest Fire has officially begun the build of Aberdeen Fire Rescue’s new brush truck. This multi-purpose apparatus is an important addition to our fleet, not only responding to vegetation fires but enhancing our ability to respond to MVCs with extrication tools when the roads are soft in the spring as well as the winter when piled snow narrows the streets in certain areas of the city.

The truck is currently scheduled for completion on May 12, 2026, and we look forward to placing it into service shortly thereafter.

We appreciate the continued support from our community as we invest in equipment that strengthens public safety and emergency response capabilities.
